Storyteller, writer, sister, mother, grandmother
I began writing stories during the years I spent as an oral storyteller and found that everything in life can become a story.
Nowadays, I write stories to be read rather than listened to – a process that requires a different approach.
I make notes of ideas as I they come to me, writing on anything near to hand, scraps of paper, post it notes, the corners of magazines.
When not writing, I spend time with my family and grandchildren, my brown shaver chickens and my demanding tortoiseshell cat.
